IVF with donor eggs is one of the most successful fertility treatments available nowadays. At Gennet, we have been specializing in this method since 2008. Thanks to our comprehensive donor program, top embryology team, and unique success guarantees, we have helped thousands of couples realize their dream of parenthood. We will guide you through the entire journey with care, empathy, and expertise.
IVF with donated eggs is a treatment method where the healthy eggs from an anonymous donor are fertilized in a laboratory with the partner's sperm (donor sperm can also be used). As a result the embryo is then transferred to the patient's uterus, allowing her to experience pregnancy and childbirth.
This method offers hope and an effective solution for women who:
The success of egg donation IVF depends on two key pillars: the quality of donor eggs and the expertise of the laboratory. We set the highest standards in both areas.
Comprehensive medical and gynecological evaluations
Testing for infectious and sexually transmitted diseases (HIV, hepatitis B and C, syphilis)
Genetic consultation and full genetic screening (karyotyping, CF, SMA, and more)
This thorough process protects your health and your future child's well-being.
We are one of the few clinics that offer you assurance, that we care. Our program guarantees that you will obtain at least two high-quality embryos in the blastocyst stage that are suitable for transfer. If we do not meet this condition (in order to fulfill the guarantee, the quality of the sperm must not be significantly reduced), you will receive another, so-called asynchronous cycle – free of charge. This can significantly increase your cumulative chance of success.
Meeting with a doctor (online or in person) to review your case and receive a personalized treatment plan. Initial tests (semen analysis, blood work) are scheduled.
Our team selects the most suitable donor from the database based on blood type compatibility and phenotype (appearance). Treatment can be carried out using either fresh or vitrified donated oocytes. In the case of a fresh cycle, the doctor uses medication to synchronize your cycle with the donor’s cycle. If you prefer not to undergo synchronization for any reason, it is not required and a cryotransfer can be scheduled instead.
While the donor undergoes ovarian stimulation, you will take medication to prepare your endometrium for embryo transfer. Ultrasound monitoring ensures optimal growth.
On the day of the donor's egg retrieval, your partner provides a semen sample (donated sperm may also be used). Our embryologists immediately fertilize the eggs using ICSI and other advanced techniques.
Embryos are cultivated for 5–6 days (extended cultivation). The best-quality embryo with the highest potential is selected for transfer.
A quick, painless, anesthesia-free procedure to transfer the embryo into your uterus, only under ultrasound guidance.
About 14 days after the transfer, a blood test checks your hCG levels to confirm pregnancy.
"Thanks to an anonymous donor, I experienced the indescribable joy of becoming a mother. I want to thank every woman who chooses to donate and help others find happiness. We are finally a family. You gave us a miracle. Thank you.“
Gennet Patient
Thanks to our stringent donor selection and expert embryology team, over 85% of retrieved eggs are successfully fertilized, placing us among Europe's leading clinics.
Each couple at Gennet receives individualised care, so the final cost of treatment varies for each patient pair due to numerous factors.
THE GUARANTEE PROGRAM ensures that the client receives at least 2 blastocyst-stage embryos, assuming sperm quality was not qualified as OAT or worse according to WHO criteria. If the client receives only 1 blastocyst and does not achieve pregnancy (confirmed heartbeat), at least 1 additional embryo will be provided in an asynchronous cycle. If the patient becomes pregnant with only 1 blastocyst, no fürther embryos will be cultivated for the patient.
For patients who do not achieve pregnancy (confirmed heartbeat) after two cycles with donated eggs (after transferring all embryos created during these cycles), and sperm quality in both cycles is not qualified as OAT or worse according to WHO criteria.
Fulfill your dream of a family. Take the first and most important step by discussing your options with our experienced doctor. The consultation is non-binding.
No. Czech law mandates strict donor anonymity. Our team selects the best match based on blood type and phenotypic similarity.
From your first consultation to embryo transfer, the process usually takes 2 to 4 months. This allows time for testing, donor matching, and cycle synchronization.
If using the partner’s sperm, the child will carry his genetic information. You will also experience the entire pregnancy and birth, creating a bond from the very beginning.
Treatment is legally allowed for women up to 48 years and 364 days. For a healthy pregnancy, we recommend a BMI below 40.
