By law, assisted reproduction is available to heterosexual couples. The upper age limit for a woman undergoing treatment is 48 years + 364 days. Treatment cannot be provided once the woman reaches 49 years of age.
Your health always comes first. To minimize the risks associated with anaesthesia and pregnancy, we apply a BMI limit of 35 for IVF treatments using your own eggs, and a limit of 40 for egg donation programs.
Czech health insurance covers up to 4 IVF cycles for women under 40 years of age (specifically until 39 years + 364 days), provided that only one embryo was transferred in the first two cycles. IUI is covered up to 6 times in a lifetime.
The first step is to book the initial consultation. You can call us or complete the contact form on our website. During this consultation, your doctor will review your situation and suggest a plan for basic examinations.
A referral is not required, you can book the consultation directly . However, if you already have one, please take it with you.
Success rates vary and depend on many factors (age, diagnosis, treatment method). In general, thanks to modern techniques, we are able to help most couples. Your doctor will discuss a specific prognosis tailored to your case.
This also varies. The diagnostic phase may take several weeks. An IVF cycle itself, from the beginning of stimulation to the pregnancy test, usually lasts around 4–5 weeks.
