Program with own genital cells
In your telephone or e-mail order, please let us know what services you are interested in. You can also send the results of your previous IVF tests or the results from your physician by e-mail or fax.
For the first consultation it is usual that both partners come. It will be helpful if you will have prepared current results of the following blood tests (not older than 3 months):
FSH, LH, E2, Prolaktin and Testosteron taken on 2 nd -5 th day of MC
Blood tests for sexually transmissible diseases – HIV, BWR, HBsAg
Examination of cultivation of vagina
Blood group and Rh factor
If these results are not available, we will perform the sampling at our clinic.
The first consultation lasts about 1 hour; a part of it is also a gynaecologic examination. If needed, it is possible to freeze the partner’s sperm for later utilization. During the consultation, the doctor determines the method of your treatment, and after a mutual agreement of the type of medicaments which you will use, the doctor makes a protocol according to which you will take the medicine.
We usually start with stimulation of your ovaries on 2nd day of the MC, and it lasts approximately 10 days. During this time you have to attend twice an ultrasound control, in order for the doctor to determine whether the dosage of the medicaments is optimal for you. This check-up may be performed by your gynaecologist as well.
On about 10th day of stimulation the ovum collection takes place; this is performed as an outpatient method under general anaesthesia. On that day your partner would come with you so that he can hand in the sample of sperms for fecundation.
On 2nd - 3rd day (on 5th – 6th day in case of extended cultivation) after the ovum collection the embryo transfer will be performed. This operation is also an outpatient one, painless and lasts only a few minutes. After its completion you will rest for about one hour in the ward.
For the period of stimulation, puncture and transfer, we will be pleased to arrange for you the accommodation in one of Prague’s hotels, which are located in the near vicinity of our clinic centre.
Program with donated oocytes
In case it is not possible to obtain an oocytes (ovulum) from the female patient, or if in her case there are genetic reasons (heritable diseases), which make her ovulum improper for the artificial fecundation, it is possible to obtain the oocytes from another female donator.
At the first consultation we will find the reason for the necessary application of the program with donated oocytes, we will record your phenotype (your external features: colour of hair, eyes, your height, very important is your blood group and Rh factor) and the practitioner will determine the procedures of supporting and preparatory treatment, until when we find an appropriate female donator for you.
During this period we will be informing you about further procedures by e-mail.
Schedule of the procedure
You will be informed at the time of stimulation of your female donator. In case you wish to be fertilised with non-frozen sperms, your partner will come for the sperm collection on the day of ovum collection from the female donator.
In case the crya-preserved sperms are used, you only need to come for the embryo transfer.
All the female donors are tested for sexually transmittable diseases, undergo gynaecological examinations and are generally in a good state of health.
